TGR has aligned with Compassion International, a Christian child advocacy ministry at work in 24 impoverished countries helping more than 900,000 children.
The Great Romance asks that you prayerfully consider joining them in sponsoring a child. Each of them sponsors his own child and can testify to blessings he has received in turn. On a personal note, the kids in the youth group I help out with decided to sponsor a child together. It brings a smile to my face thinking about the crumpled up dollars they hand us youth leaders each month. I wonder if they will ever know how much of a difference those crumpled up bills make in the life of the child they help support half the world away. I suspect they never will, but I'm sure the child they sponsor must thank the Lord that they do.
Please pray about making a monthly contribution to your own child through Compassion, whether it be with your family or with a group such as your youth group, Sunday school class, friends, co-workers, etc. It takes only $32 a month to make a profound difference in an impoverished child's life. Join TGR and Compassion International in extending His love by releasing children from poverty in Jesus' name.
